The Tri-Ethnic Community Readiness Model assesses a community’s willingness and preparation to take action on an issue. This training event will guide your coalition through understanding the open-ended survey questions about Community Members & Leader’s attitudes, knowledge, and beliefs about an issue. The training will guide you in scoring and addressing the results in 5 key dimensions of readiness: Community Knowledge of the Issue, Knowledge of Current Efforts, Community Climate, Leadership and Resources. You will also learn to use the final readiness scores to develop a plan for action to increase Capacity.
